Definition: What this fraud dispute means is that no signature was obtained by a card holder for a card transaction that involved keying in all of the information on the card holder's credit card. Without obtaining a signature from the card holder, the transaction has not truly been authorized by said card holder.

How to resolve this Chargeback: In order to resolve this type of chargeback, you must be able to provide supportive documents which show that a signature was obtained for the card transaction in question. If a signature was not obtained by the card holder at the time of the transaction, the next course of action is either to obtain and submit a signature to authorize the transaction, or to credit the amount of the transaction to the card holder.
Tips: To protect the safety of your business and each and every one of your customers, it would be wise to make sure that a signature is received from every one who pays using a credit card. You should check this signature against the signature on the back of the credit card in question, and you should check identification for the card holder as well.
